Take full advantage of our vast network of carriers across Australia and overseas, our negotiated rates, our knowledge, our experience and our commitment to service excellence.
We offer fully managed solutions so that all you need to do is call us to arrange pickup and delivery of your goods, then settle the account when it’s all done. There is often a faster, more cost-effective or more efficient way to transport items than might at first be obvious. Simply tell us what’s important to you and we’ll have the solution to fit.
At all times, we operate with integrity and honesty. We are heavily involved and active within the logistics industry as our Director, Elliot Price is the Queensland Section Chair with The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Australia and represents Young Professionals on the CILT International Management Committee.
Who we are.
Our team has the industry experience and expertise you’d expect, but it’s their passion, care and attention to detail that really sets us apart. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and we take great pride in finding the best possible solution to each and every challenge.
The longer you work with us, the more efficient our partnership will become. Whether you regularly use us for large projects or come to us for a one-off job, you’ll be treated in exactly the same way and can rest assured that your shipment is in safe hands.
We spend a lot of time on relationship-building with our carriers because to be honest we couldn’t do it without them. We know exactly which carrier to use according to the type of goods you’re transporting, your destination, required transit time or your special requirements and we have already put in the groundwork to establish competitive pricing arrangements.
Having worked for a number of niche and large transport operators in both Australia and his native New Zealand, Elliot has gained a wealth of experience and built a strong network of contacts in the industry over many years. He knows the kinds of limitations that can be involved when dealing with particular carriers and that there will always be a different carrier who is equipped to step in when others can’t. Keeping his finger on the pulse of these capabilities is what led Elliot to establish Applied Logistics, a company whose point of difference is that they go beyond managing freight tasks and devise real solutions for clients.
Passionate about his industry and its wide realm of possibilities, Elliot is the Young Professionals (YP) Global Convener of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). He was also the Queensland Section Chair with CILT Australia and represented Queensland and YPs on the Australian National Council. What all this means for Applied Logistics clients is peace of mind that their needs are serviced by a company whose director is a seasoned professional with exceptional depth of experience and knowledge.
Growing up on a sheep farm, Elliot has developed a wide skill set from creating solutions from the available resources. This has served him well in business, as well as in his hobby – lighting and sound design for community theatre.
